Tomorrow is our annual Camera Shootout and Equipment Show & Tell. Along with the best cameras in the industry, there will be some great tools used by videographers to help them be successful. Feel free to bring any of your cool gadgets to show off. We’ll have some time at the end for you to try anything out. We also will have an informative presentation by Millenniata, a company that provides special archival media, a great product for those providing lasting memories to clients.

Also a reminder that we are currently accepting entries for the 2009 UPVA Creative Excellence Awards. Entries need to be in by the next UPVA meeting, January 6. There are some new categories and rule changes, so be sure to check out the entry form: Download 2009 Entry Form Here

Another note about January’s meeting–Chris McClain will be stepping up as the 2010 UPVA president, and would like to meet with anyone interested in serving on the board. There will be a short meeting before the regular UPVA meeting, starting at 5:30. This is a great opportunity to be involved in the local industry and promote professional videography.
